Lui Strassburger is a profissional actor since 1977 and sarted his carrer in Porto Alegre.
In 1989 moved to São Paulo where have acted in many plays as “O Cobrador” (The colector), from Ruben Fonseca
directed by Beth Lopes (1990), “La Chunga” (The Chunga) of Mario Vargas Llosa presented in Miami and New York, directed by William Pereira (1995), “Ritual Íntimo” (Intimate ritual) from João Silvério Trevisan directed by Marcelo Braga and Marcelo Denny (2007) playng a role of J.J.Jameson, acted in “O Homem Aranha, Ação e Aventura” (Spiderman, action and adventure), directed by Leandro Paneta.
In 2008 play a role of Militão in the movie “O Menino da Porteira” (The kid of the farm's gate) produced by JEREFILMES and COLUMBIA PICTURES. Lui played a role of a funny scientist, in “A Casa Verde” (The Green House) produced by Accorde Filmes.
He was the main caracter in short movies as “Kopeck” (2010) from Jaime Lerner and “Átimo” (Trice) from Romeu di Sessa (1997). With his acting in “O Encontro” (Pursuit) from Marcos Jorge (2002), won the “Kikito” of Best Actor in the 30th International Festival of Movies from Gramado (2002). With the same movie won the prizes of Best Actor in the Festivals of Movies of Curitiba (2002), Juiz de Fora (2002), Paraty (2002), Cuiabá (2003) e Belém
(2004) all of them in Brazil.
Had smals participation in movies as “Bicho de Sete Cabeças” (Animal of Seven Heads) from Laís Bodansky 2000 and “Vale Quanto Pesa ou
é Por Quilo?” , from Sérgio Bianchi 2005, “Mosaico” (Mosaic) from Fabiano Moura 2008 and in the short movie “14 BIS” from André Ristum 2006.
In television participated in some soap operas as “Avenida
Brasil” (Brazil Avenue) Globo 2012, “Meu Pé de Laranja Lima” (My orange-lime tree) Band, 1997, “Éramos Seis” (We whore six) Sbt, 1994, “Belíssima” (Beautiful) Globo, 2005, “Laços de Família” (Family Ties) Globo, 2000, “Água na
Boca” (Water in the Mouth) BAND 2008, “Revelação” (Revelation) SBT 2008, “Uma Rosa com Amor” (A Rose with Love) Sbt, 2010 and “Amor e Revolução” (Love and Revolution) Sbt 2011.
Plaing a role of Samuel Bloom, acted in the serie “O Legado” (The Legacy), directed by Fabiano Moura, April 2010. Acted in “Força Tarefa” (Tatical Force) Globo, 2010 “Eleições” (Elections) in CQC Band 2010 and presents the “Telecurso 2000 Profissionalizante” (Profissionalizing Course).
He is a radio announcer and has degree as Art Educator by the Faculdade Paulista de Artes, São Paulo, Brazil.

actor in Brazil since 1977, where have participate in more than 30
